What is the Cultivators’ Market

The Cultivators’ Market at the Shields-Ethridge Heritage Farm (2355 Ethridge Road, Jefferson) is an open-air market that encourages homesteading practices and gathers local farmers, growers, and entrepreneurs to sell their products in a festival atmosphere.

Entertainment of live music, games and exhibitions of farming practices from the past will appeal to the visitors as they shop for local market items.

There is free access to the Heritage Farm for visitors and the buildings will be open with demonstrations inside the Grist Mill and Blacksmith shop.

The Farm is unique for its collection of intact historic buildings that exist in their original location. Proceeds from the Market will target specific restoration projects on the Heritage Farm.

Rain or shine. No pets, please.
