RV travelers can now experience Shields-Ethridge Farm firsthand—our historic grounds are open for overnight stays through the Harvest Hosts program.
That means Harvest Hosts members can enjoy an overnight stay on our historic, two-century-old working farm in Jefferson, Georgia.
If you’re traveling in your RV, you’ll find level, shaded sites right alongside 18 beautifully preserved 19th-century buildings—think barns, a grist mill, and even a cotton gin. You can take a guided ATV or walking tour, hear some colorful family stories, and see what farm life was like back in the day.
- Pet-friendly: Bring your furry companions!
- Room for rigs over 45 feet
- Generators allowed
- Easy, head-to-spot check-in
- Open year-round
What really sets us apart is the sense of community and history you’ll experience here—just ask our guests! Many say they’ve never seen a collection of farm buildings like ours anywhere else. Whether you’re a history buff, a nature lover, or just looking for a peaceful spot to rest, you’re welcome at our farm.
How to Stay:
You’ll need a Harvest Hosts membership to book with us. Once you send a stay request through our host listing, we’ll review your request and respond as soon as possible—please note that all stays are by approval, so we may approve or decline based on availability and other factors.
